New Leisurewood on
the Lake received its permits from the Trinity River
Authority and US Army Corps of Engineers to install an innovative
shoreline protection system along the entire subdivision lakefront,
as well as a 400 foot breakwater located approximately 150 feet offshore, which
creates a protected harbor for a private resident marina that will
accommodate boat slips for all lot owners. Both lakefront
shoreline protection and the breakwater have been installed.
